Canoe/Kayak
- Our Canoes and Kayaks are included with your stay at The Oaks Cottages
- All persons in a boat are required BY LAW to wear a life preserver. We recommend you bring your own life preserver/jacket as this insures a proper fit. We do have limited quantities of life jackets available upon request
- You must come to the office to sign out any canoe/kayak at which time we will supply you with the paddles and life jacket if needed
- When operating any motorized watercraft, it is mandatory to stay a minimal of 100ft from the shore line or 150ft if water level is low
- Any persons driving a motorized watercraft and any fishermen MUST have a valid boating/fishing license
- An adult must accompany small children when on the docks or in any type of watercraft
- THESE RULES ARE MANDATORY BY LAW AND FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE RULES MAY RESULT IN A TICKET OR FINE BY PROVINCIAL AUTHORITIES AND/OR PERSONAL INJURY
